Michael Resnick is a Certified Financial Planner with a passion for helping multiple generations of families grow and protect their wealth. Michael believes strongly that every person should have a plan in place that will allow them to understand how to achieve their goals. No matter if they are as complex as a smooth retirement or as simple as leaving a legacy for family, Michael feels that acting as your trusted advisor will help to make the dreams become a reality.Having a team of professionals behind him at GCG Financial, an Alera Group member, Michael loves to work with his clients on all aspects of their financial plan from investments to insurance, from taxes to estate planning.
Having spent years managing risk on the trading floors of Chicago as well at multiple hedge funds, Michael found his passion working closely with families, helping to manage and protect their wealth. Michael is an active member of the Financial Planning Association and sits on the Alera Advisory Council. He also believes strongly in giving back and has continued to be involved with Brandeis University as a member of the National Board of Directors of the Alumni Association, sitting on both the finance and marketing committees. Michael has been an active member of several other charities including Cycle for Survival, fighting for an end to rare cancers.
